Considering most of us will have their midterms this week and the last week we mostly worked on the project, would you please extend the deadline to next week? As we have the spring break next week, it would give us some more time to work on the assignment. Is it possible?
Respected Prof, The training for algorithm has been running from past 48 hours and still hasn't converged. I kindly request to extend the deadline till this weekend. Thank you. Yours sincerely, Sreesha

Hello Professor,
Considering this is the first assignment and we are still getting used to python, can we have the deadline extended for two days? It would be a great help.
It is asked to display the result in binary format. Does it mean that we have to change the imshow() parameters ? because the output will normally be binary after the double threshold method(pixels are either 0 or 1) even if we display them in ply.cm.gray
سلام رضا من متاسفانه الان شروع کردم! بذا رسیدم به چهار بهت میگم؛)

If your image only contains zeros and ones then it will be displayed as black and white.

Hi
I have a question regarding task4
It is asked to display the result in binary format. Does it mean that we have to change the imshow() parameters ? because the output will normally be binary after the double threshold method(pixels are either 0 or 1)
yes it is black and white but when I set the parameter plt.cm.binary instead of plt.cm.gray it complements each pixel so white and black pixels swap colors. For example instead of borders being shown in white they are shown in black.
As understood from your statement as long as they are 0 and 1 , it does not matter how they are displayed.
