for Office

Overview: Regina Montoya Coggins, one of the first Hispanic women
from Texas to run for Congress, discusses the challenges she faced
in her 2000 campaign for the 5th Congressional District of Texas.

Suggested audience: All new hires since January 2001.
Presenters: Training staff, various Dept. Reps., and Human
Resources.
Overview: The new structure of Orientation will include 3
of the Staff Development 10 Essentials: UTA Orientation
(8:00 am-10:00 am), Customer Service (10:00 am-noon) and
Institutional Compliance (1:00-3:00 pm). New employees are
required to come for the full day. Current employees may
attend any of the sections they need to fulfill their 10
Essentials.

Kemble, a 19th century British actress and wife of one of America’s
