Dear International Students, 

International Week 2008 Event Applications are due this Friday, March 7!  
If you are interested in participating in I-Week this year, one of the most 
popular events on campus, now’s the time to fill out an application! 

Applications are available to download on the ISO website: 
http://www2.uta.edu/iso/, you can pick one up at the Swift Center, or you 
can email the event’s contact person (listed below).  Turn them in to the Swift 
Center, 1022 UTA Blvd, Campus Box 19028. 

International Week will take place from April 5 – April 11.  Applications are 
available for: 

Grand Opening Ceremony for Individuals who can carry a country’s banner 
(doesn’t need to be your own country) Contact: Katina Vassileva:

Nationality Exhibits for Student Organizations to create a cultural exhibit to 
teach others about the region you represent.  Sheena Jackson:

School Visits for Student Organizations with cultural exhibits, to put on a brief 
performance for elementary/middle school students. Marjana Sarker:

Soccer Tournament for Student Organizations to participate in one of the 
world’s most popular sports! Alan Whitener: [log in to unmask] 

Food Fair for Student Organizations to set up a table and sell food from your

Fashion Show for Student Organizations to represent your region’s unique 
cultural dress. Not a member of a student organization yet? Join ISO and 
participate as a member of their Fashion Show team. Gayatri Desai:

Global Extravaganza for Student Organizations to put on a performance in 
front of a large audience, including both UTA and DFW communities, 
representing dance, music, or other aspect of the culture you represent. You 
can also join ISO and participate as a member of their Global Extravaganza
