 Good Afternoon,

             Six weeks ago, the airline industry passed another round of
 commission cuts to travel agencies.  Almost every carrier went to zero
 commissions.  As you can imagine, this has had a staggering impact on
 all travel agencies.   Due to this event, our preferred travel vendor,
 Travel Trends Inc., will increase our processing fee from
 $10.00/transaction to $15.00/transaction.  This change is effective
 Monday, May 6th.
             From the industry information we have obtained, this fee is
 still substantially below the average fee charged by most agencies.
 Travel Trends Inc. is committed to providing our institution with
 quality travel services.  If you have questions about the fee increase,
 or any other travel issue, please contact Travel Services at ext. 2417
