This message is being sent on behalf of the Office of Research and the

        The Office of Research and the Office of Grant Accounting Services
are  announcing monthly "bring your own brown bag" lunch sessions (drinks
and dessert will be provided).  These sessions are targeted for anyone
interested or involved in research administration.  This specifically
includes administrative support personnel and P.I.'s.

        The first session will cover:

        -Get to know your administrative support staff
        -Principles of Research Administration
        -What is the difference between a grant and contract?

Future sessions will address topics such as Cost Sharing, Allowable
expenses, Indirect Costs, Gifts vs. Grants/Contracts, Program Income, and
more.

        Each session will be held from 12:00-1:00pm in Room 100 Nedderman
Hall.
