DEFINE is an electronic communication of class schedules, announcements
and updates regarding DEFINE, the on-line accounting system.  It is
distributed by the Office of Accounting and Business Services, DEFINE
Education and Training.  Subscriptions are free and may be placed by

When creating a VP2 for a reimbursement to an individual, you will need to
enter an "R" in the "Interest Flag" and an "AI" in the "Reason Code".  This
entry will have to be on every transaction line. You will still enter RMB
under the Purpose Code.

Even though reimbursements are not subject to the PPA (Prompt Payment Act),
some object codes used for individual reimbursements are  linked to the PPA.
To alleviate problems, you must make these entries.

Accounting Services was made aware of this today, therefore we will be
checking this field for entries. Because only the creator can update this
field, the document will be returned for corrections.
