The Payroll Office at UTA has purchased a license agreement for NRAware, a
web-based program that will allow you to complete your 2001 federal income
tax on-line. This program is only for students and scholars who are required
to file forms 1040NR or 1040NREZ and form 8843. To access the web site, you
will need a unique access code, which the International Office will provide
to you. Once you log on, the access code will be valid for only 72 hours.
Therefore, you will need to assemble all of the documents needed to complete
your tax form before entering the web site.

If you are interested in using this program to complete your taxes, please
request your access code from the International Office IN PERSON. Before you
receive your unique access code and instructions for the web site, the
International Office will check to see whether you are enrolled at UTA. You
will also be asked to sign a waiver indicating that you understand the
following:
                1. the use of the web site is entirely voluntary and
optional. You may use other tax programs or complete and mail in the
appropriate tax forms yourself.
                2. UTA is providing the program as a service to
international students and scholars, but does not assume any responsibility
for the accuracy of the information provided by NRAware nor for the
technical support of the website
                3. you are assuming responsibility for the accuracy of
the information you provide on the on-line tax forms
                4. the IRS will not waive the filing requirements or
the deadline (April 15th) due to technical problems with the computer or the
software
                5. the forms and instructions are commercially produced
by a for-profit company, not by the US government
                6. you are assuming any risk that may be involved in
posting and transmitting your personal information on the web
