Good morning,

There are no events to report this week, but please read below for upcoming
events:

Thursday, February 12th
CPT Seminar, 2-3pm, Guadalupe, U.C.
This is the first Curricular Practical Training seminar of the spring
semester. Be sure and attend to have all of your questions answered about
CPT eligibility. This is particularly helpful for those of you who are
thinking about applying for CPT in future semester, and those who may have
last minute questions for this semester.

Global Grounds International Coffee Hour, 4-5:30pm, Palo Duro Lounge, U.C.
Join the International Office in the first Global Grounds of the spring
semester! This week we will be honoring two visiting Korean Fulbright
scholars with a farewell ceremony. Both Duke and Angella are participating
in a program called the Korean Teachers Fulbright Program, which gives them
the opportunity to come to the U.S. for seven weeks. They have spent four
weeks in Austin, and will be concluding a two week site visit in Arlington
at the time of this event. We would like to wish them well before they
return to Austin for their final week in the U.S., and then head home to
Korea. As usual, this event will feature chai, coffee, teas, snacks and
music from around the world. Free and open to the university community.

Saturday, February 21st
Tax Seminar, 12-4pm, Concho, U.C.
A representative of the IRS will be present to address any tax questions
that you may have for completing your 2003 federal tax returns.

As always, updates are posted to our website at www.uta.edu/io
