Good morning,

Following are the upcoming events through the International Office for this
week:

Monday, February 23, 2004
CPT Seminar, 2-3pm, San Saba, U.C.
This is the perfect introductory seminar to find out more about Curricular
Practical Training. If you are thinking about applying for CPT in upcoming
semesters, be sure you attend one of our information seminars first!

Thursday, February 26, 2004
OPT Seminar, 2-3pm, Student Congress Chambers, U.C.
Please be sure and attend this seminar if you have any questions about
Optional Practical Training. This is a great opportunity to have your
questions answered about requirements, forms and more!

Upcoming Events:
Tuesday, March 2, 2004
Immigration Attorney Seminar, 5-7pm, Rosebud Theater, U.C.
David Swaim, Esq. of Tidwell, Swaim and Associates will be presenting this
seminar about common immigration topics for students. Don't miss your
opportunity to have a board-certified immigration attorney clear up any
questions you may have. This event is free and open to the university
community.
*Please note that Mr. Swaim will not be able to provide legal advice on your
specific immigration situation, but will be able to answer general
questions.

International Week 2004 is coming! We are still searching for Committee
Members to help volunteer for the events. We also need any interested
student organization to be sure and turn in an application by Friday, March
5th in the International Office. For more information, please visit
www2.uta.edu/iso.

Have a great week,
