Good morning! Following are the upcoming events through the International
Office for the week of November 24th:

Monday, November 24, 2003
OPT Seminar, 2-3pm, Red River, U.C.
Join Dr. McClellan for the last OPT Seminar of the semester. This is your
last chance to have your questions answered in person via seminar until next
semester.

Upcoming Events:
Peer Advisors
This is the final week for those interested to turn in Peer Advisor
applications. Be sure and stop by and submit an application if you enjoy
meeting and helping new international students!

International Week
Now recruiting for International Week Committee Coordinators and Committee
Members! Have you been a Coordinator for International Week in years past?
Do you have some great ideas for this year's logo, slogan, and other
improvements? If so, please stop by and pick up an application in the
International Office. There are two ways to get involved: apply to be an
International Week Committee Coordinator, or apply to be a Committee Member.
There will be one Coordinator in charge of each committee, with 5-10
Committee Members in each committee. I strongly urge all those with
experience to apply for the leadership Coordinator positions - which are
still voluntary- as these require a great deal or organization, insight, and
mangement.

Just a reminder that this Thursday and Friday the International Office (and
the rest of the offices within the university) will be closed for the
Thanksgiving holidays.

Regards,

Julie Uzdavinis
