Good morning,

I am sending this message to our listserv not to inform you of any upcoming
events or changes in immigration policies, but to pass along sad news.  One
of our UTA international students, Ashutosh Atkekar, recently passed away.
In honor of Mr. Atkekar, the university will be lowering its flags as well
as sending a memorial to his family back home in India.

The flags will be lowered for two days, one day for Mr. Atkekar, and one day
for Donald Oltean, a UTA student who died in a car accident last week in
Houston.  Please remember these two UTA students as you see the flags
lowered the next two days.
