UTA Payroll Services has purchased a new software program called Glacier. It
is specifically designed to benefit non-United States citizen employees and
students regarding United States Federal Government tax issues.  The
information entered in this program will identify the tax forms you need to
complete and whether you qualify for a tax treaty exemption.

As an employee of UTA, or a student receiving a taxable scholarship, you
should receive an email from [log in to unmask]
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> with the subject line Payments from
University of Texas at Arlington.  This email will include your personal
password to access Glacier.  Please read the email carefully and follow the
step-by-step directions to access Glacier and to enter all the requested
information into Glacier.

You may be asked by Glacier to provide certain forms and document copies.

We are located at 1225 W. Mitchell which is at the intersection of Davis Dr.
and W. Mitchell (near the football stadium).  Office hours are 8:00 am -
5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

It is important that you input the information requested by Glacier in a
timely manner to avoid delays in processing your payments, to insure
compliance with all federal tax laws, and to make certain you receive all
the tax benefits to which you may be entitled.  If you have not received
