As previously announced, Pete Sorenson is the speaker on this topic at the
next Professional Development Seminar, 10 a.m.-12 noon Friday, October 6, in
room 609 in the Business building at UTA.

In this update I want to give you a little background on Pete. Before
entering the University of Washington for a degree in behavioral sciences,
he served in the Navy in Vietnam. It was this experience that sparked his
interest in how people operate in groups and teams. Among his work
experiences after earning his master's degree in organizational behavior
from BYU, Pete worked at Rockwell's Switching Systems Division, where he
designed and implemented a process to resolve design disputes between
marketing and engineering.

In addition to Rockwell, Pete has worked at General Dynamics, Boeing Defense
and Space, and Personnel Decisions International. Since 1995 he has
operated his own consulting firm, Ginkgo Enterprises.
