Market Research Manager
Our client, a worldwide leader in financial services based in the New York
Metropolitan area, seeks a Market Research Manager.  The successful
candidate for this newly created position must be well versed in all aspects
of a corporate consumer marketing research process.  This includes:
A)      the mechanics of market research (e.g. assembling a questionnaire,
fielding/troubleshooting it, etc.)
B)      assisting managers to conceptualize research and marketing issues
C)      analyzing research data and preparing presentations and reports that
include concise, clear-cut and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilites:
1)      Obtain/provide technical advice regarding market research design
2)      Implement quantitative and qualitative marketing research
3)      Assist in planning marketing research on an annual basis (e.g.
required projects to meet research needs, and fiscal year budget required)
4)      Maintain standards for each type of research for consistency
purposes
5)      Participate in special projects as required (e.g. economic trend
analysis, secondary data search).

Requirements:
A)      B.A., Master's degree a plus
B)      A solid grasp of mathematical concepts and statistics
C)      At least 6 years experience in marketing research.
D)      Experience working in a service-provider role supporting
(international) clients
E)      Background in new product development work, international market
research, financial services market research.

Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.  Salary range is $70K - $85K +
Bonus.
