Greenpeace <http://www.greenpeaceusa.org>

Hello!

Greenpeace is offering an amazing opportunity for students to learn
first hand how to become leaders in their community!

The Greenpeace Organizing Term (http://www.greenpeace.org/got
<http://members.greenpeace.org/go/redirect/905>) is the best hands-on
training and leadership program available to college-aged students.

Not only will your students learn how to organize environmental
campaigns more effectively, but it will also give them skills and a
network of activists and peers to work with when they return to campus
and work along side after school.

The Greenpeace Organizing Term (http://www.greenpeace.org/got
<http://members.greenpeace.org/go/redirect/905>) is a semester-long
program packed with action, travel and training. Since most of our past
students learned about the program from their professors we wanted to
make sure we sent you notice of our program right away.

Please take a minute to forward the note below to students who may be
interested in this semester-long program. Spaces fill up quickly—so be
sure to tell your students soon before they miss out!

We also have great opportunities for YOU. You can join like-minded
professors by becoming a member of our professor network. As a member
of the network you will receive emails each semester letting you know of
the new opportunities for your students and for you. Please take a
second to fill out this survey (http://tiny.cc/GreenpeaceProfessor
<http://members.greenpeace.org/go/redirect/907>) if you’re interested in
joining us build the movement!

Thank you for your support of the Greenpeace Organizing Term!

Sincerely,
Linda Capato

:::::::::::::::::::::::::PLEASE FORWARD:::::::::::::::::::::::::

Students,

I am writing to let you know about an exciting opportunity: the
Greenpeace Organizing Term (http://www.greenpeace.org/got
<http://members.greenpeace.org/go/redirect/909>). The GOT is an
action-packed semester of classroom and hands-on training. It’s a
semester designed to give you the skills to be an environmental leader
back in your community.

You’ll learn about current environmental issues and solutions while
being trained by experts in grassroots organizing, leadership, media,
and campaign strategy.

You’ll travel with Greenpeace to work with activists’ abroad. Also,
you’ll learn how to engage in peaceful direct action, climb, and
effectively campaign!

On top of all of that, many students are able to receive class credit
for the semester.
