NEW IMMIGRATION REGULATIONS PUBLISHED

Today, December 11, 2002, the Immigration and Naturalization Service published the Final Rule regarding F-1 students. The International Office staff is currently reviewing the new regulations. A summary of the new regulations and new international office procedures will be posted on the International Office website shortly. (http:// www.uta.edu/io). We urge all students to review the summary during the winter break. The changes and new procedures may significantly affect your status, your enrollment and plans for completion of study.
