Please remember that you are all invited to the Annual Anthropology Lecture by Dr. John W. Hoopes.  He will present slides on the Chibcha culture and their function as cross-culturally significant for exchange between Central and South America.  John is a noted scholar and has traveled frequently to Latin America.  The lecture is tonight, Thursday evening, April 24, at 7:00 pm in the Architecture building auditorium, second floor. 

On Friday, Dr. Hoopes will discuss his work at noon in Room 418 of University Hall.  Dr. Richard Schaedel, Professor of Anthropology from UT Austin, will also be present to further discuss Peruvian Archaeology.
