Special Bank Visit

The International Office is pleased to announce that a representative of Wells Fargo Bank will be on campus to assist International students in opening up a bank account. A representative will be available Monday, June 30, 2003 from 4-5pm in the Bluebonnet South Ballroom, U.C., and Thursday, July 3, 2003 from 4-5pm in the Guadalupe Room, U.C.

Wells Fargo requires only that International students bring their valid I-20 with them, as well as their UTA Mav Express Card or Passport in order to open an account. If students are depositing money via Demand Draft, Wells Fargo would like to advise that it will take 11 business days until their money is available. The fastest route is to do a wire transfer from your home country, which only costs $10 to receive.
