Women's Drawing Workshops:

Kim Worthington earned her BFA from the University of North Texas and received her All-level Art Certification from the State Board for Educator Certification.  She has many years of experience both as a professional artist and art educator.  She teaches at a Montessori school and has been active in an organization celebrating extraordinary families.

The workshops will be at La Madeleine at 5290 Beltline Road in Addison on September 20th and October 18th for women and older teens, and on October 4th for teen girls only.  Arrive between 8:45 and 9:00am to meet everybody and be on time for ordering breakfast with the group.  At 9am, order anything you want for breakfast, which is included in your fee of $65.00.

After breakfast, with guided practice, you will learn drawing techniques that will enhance your skill level as an artist.  Your instructor will demonstrate practical techniques that will help you develop greater value ranges and contrast, interesting variations in line quality, and accurate proportions.  Beginners are welcome!

The workshop will end at 12:15pm and all of the art supplies and the 20 page drawing manual that you received during the class are yours to keep.  Please register a week before your workshop. For more information and to receive a registration form, please call Kim at 214-821-8383.

Note from Suzanne:  Kim is a friend of mine and one of the very best artists I've ever met!  I'm really looking forward to being at her workshop! J
