Hello, Friends!  The Sociology Student Association has established a drop box in the Sociology & Anthropology Department office at UH 430 until November 19 for Thanksgiving donations to the Fort Worth Salvation Army Family Shelter.  The shelter needs new and gently used items for the many babies, kids and adults who go to them for help during emergencies.  They may be suffering from a catastrophe or a serious domestic disturbance that caused them to flee to the shelter with no toothbrush, diapers, or change of clothes.  When they arrive, they may benefit from the comfort of a blanket, toy or game.  Please bring your offerings to us and the SSA will deliver them to the Shelter.
