The second annual Celebrating Maverick Day Benefits Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from 11:00am to 1:30pm in the University Center Bluebonnet Ballroom. This fair highlights the various benefits staff members receive as part of the Maverick family. Employees will have the opportunity to come and visit the many different vendors and organizations that provide a service or discount for the UT Arlington Community. There will be games, door prizes, educational forums, and plenty of food and fun.

The Heartsaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an AED. Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and foreign-body airway obstruction.
