From Dr. Petruso:

This year's ACES (Annual Celebration of Excellence by Students) symposium, which features research projects by both undergraduates and graduate students, is scheduled for Friday, March 28. Students may present either oral or poster presentations in sessions judged by faculty.

ACES provides a great opportunity for students to obtain feedback from classmates and faculty on their research. Many cash prizes are awarded; this department has always fared very well in the competition.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is Friday, February 15.
