Paid field work opportunity, full-time temporary From: Kelsey Buchanan [mailto:[log in to unmask]] Sent: Tuesday, February 26, 2008 12:26 PM To: sociology Subject: call for applications To Whom It May Concern: I am contacting you regarding a request for applications we would like to extend to the University of Texas - Arlington Sociology Department. Shared Hope International is looking for a professional, professor, or responsible graduate student to fill the role of a temporary field assessor. We are currently collaborating with the Fort Worth Human Trafficking Task Force to complete field-research on behalf of the Department of Justice. The purpose of the research is to obtain a baseline understanding on children exploited through prostitution, pornography and exotic dancing/stripping in the Fort Worth area. In particular, we are looking to document identification methods and labeling, and how this affects the access to and delivery of services for this victim population. I have attached a Request for Applications that outlines the job description, scope of the project, and application procedures, as well as a fact sheet on Shared Hope. You can learn more about our work by visiting our website at www.sharedhope.org. We are aiming to begin the research process next month in March. As such, interested parties should apply by March 4th. Please pass this email to any person you believe may be interested in the position.
