Management of Consumer Insight resources: - Proprietary Tyson data sources, sometimes working in conjunction with varied Tyson departments - Secondary, purchased data sources - Primary marketing research projects aimed at providing consumer insights - Translating consumer insights into actionable strategies and initiatives as part of business and marketing plans. - Insight driven, new product initiatives Strategic analysis: - Integrate consumer and market insights throughout business and marketing plans for Tyson Foodservice customers and division - Collaborate with customer development managers and brand marketing managers to determine appropriate insights support on customer projects - Analyze consumer, customer and competitive landscape for application to proactive new product development and customer strategy - Provide insight based innovation recommendations for foodservice product development Financial Management and Corporate Reporting: - Responsible to manage key consumer insights to marketing teams throughout Tyson - Responsible for monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc reporting to management on key consumer insights - Representation of foodservice consumer perspective on varied corporate initiative teams - Develop and manage budgets directly related to trade funds, travel and entertainment, and other business related expenditures, as assigned. Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred. Experience: 5+ years of consumer research experience required. 7+ years in food service and/or marketing agency experience preferred. Retail channel or category management experience a plus. Computer Skills: Basic Microsoft Office Suite (applications = Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Travel: 12 or more domestic trips per year. Special Skills: Restaurant marketing and strategic planning experience is a plus.
