Explore the 6 dimensions of life that, when balanced, lead to overall well-being: Physical, emotional, spiritual, social, occupational, and intellectual. (Based on a model by the National Wellness Institute.) Presented by Vickie Goins, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, Counseling Specialist IV, Coordinator of Outreach Services for UT Arlington.

The skills you learn here could save a life. Participants will receive CPR certification card.

CPR Anytime 

Now everyone can learn the invaluable lifesaving skill of CPR anytime anywhere in under 30 minutes. Teach your family and friends and learn to save a life, maybe yours!

Each participant will receive a kit that includes a reduced-size practice mannequin, a CPR Anytime Skills practice DVD, a CPR resource booklet and other instructional accessories.

Writing Effective E-Mails (AP) 

E-mail has become an essential communication tool for most individuals and organizations. It is vitally important that you identify and learn all of the basics of email communication as well as all of the dangers of e-mail communication.

If your office is a mess and you are drowning in your to-do list, then this class is for you. Participants will learn how backlogs happen, how to manage paperwork, how to eliminate clutter, and discover the benefits of organization.

Dealing with Difficult People (AP) 

Never again fall victim to those who love to make life miserable for the rest of us. This training gives you concrete techniques for dealing with difficult people in the workplace and at home. It provides specific strategies for getting adversaries to cooperate...bullies to back off ... wallflowers to open up ... chronic complainers to quiet down.
