With so many situations and circumstances out of control in and around us, it is comforting to know that there is one thing we can control our attitude. Maintaining a positive attitude in the face of difficulty as well as success makes a world of difference in how you function in your work place and how people interact with you.

This class is designed to help you explore the tools necessary to having and maintaining the right attitude. In addition, we will discuss how to deal with those whose attitude is difficult to deal with.

Do you struggle to find the right words in a conversation? Do you find yourself not being able to get your point across? Now is your opportunity to learn the skills that can empower you to speak clearly and effectively.

Participants will learn about communication styles, assertiveness, non-verbal communication, and additional keys to communication that will educate and empower.

Welcoming Diversity (8) 

This workshop is an experiential, interactive program designed to promote awareness and increased sensitivity to the many similarities and differences among individuals and groups in our society.  Done in an upbeat, hopeful tone, the program focuses on developing self-pride, examining stereotypes, and learning skills in responding to prejudicial jokes, remarks, and slurs. Participants will also discover how to be more attentive to diversity and racism in the workplace and community.

This presentation will reveal some common myths surrounding diet, supplementation, training and fitness. Come learn the truth.

The skills you learn here could save a life. Participants will receive CPR certification card.

Fresh Start from Tobacco-Session 1 

The Fresh Start From Tobacco program consists of a series of four seminar series designed to educate and assist individuals who are ready to make a fresh start from tobacco use. These seminars will cover steps to understanding addiction, quitting and coping strategies, and receiving help. It is important to attend all four sessions.
