Fire Extinguisher Training
When a fire breaks out, the most important decision to make is whether to fight the fire or escape. It is important that you know how to operate the fire extinguisher before you attempt to fight a fire. Come to this hands-on course and learn how to use a fire extinguisher to safely put out a small fire when appropriate

This face-to-face training is provided by the Office of Institutional Compliance. Although the content of the training focuses more on the manager/leader of the office or department, it is essential that the office Administrative Assistant be familiar with the expectations conveyed through this training. Our goal is to help partner the Administrative Assistant with their manager/leader for overall office success.

This workshop is an experiential, interactive program designed to promote awareness and increased sensitivity to the many similarities and differences among individuals and groups in our society.  Done in an upbeat, hopeful tone, the program focuses on developing self-pride, examining stereotypes, and learning skills in responding to prejudicial jokes, remarks, and slurs. Participants will also discover how to be more attentive to diversity and racism in the workplace and community.
