Office of the President - UT Arlington

March 11, 2014

Dear Colleagues:

The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) serves as a channel of communication among staff and administrators.

This council helps keep the University administration apprised of the needs and interests of staff and helps keep fellow staff members abreast of relevant issues and ways to engage in the life of the UT Arlington community.

Three years ago, SAC implemented new representative districting. Districts no longer are determined by campus building location, but by each area’s vice president, dean, director, and/or department head. If your district does not have a representative or if you would like more information about the organization, please visit www.uta.edu/sac.

The Staff Advisory Council is a resource for all of us, and I encourage you to support and encourage staff participation. SAC meetings are held at 3 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month in the Student Congress Chambers at the University Center.

If you have any questions, please contact Jean Hood, vice president for human resources, at [log in to unmask] or Erin Townsend, SAC chair, at [log in to unmask].

Thank you for your support of staff participation in SAC’s meetings, committees, and initiatives.

Sincerely,

Vistasp M. Karbhari
President
