Subject: Archer Fellowships in Washington, AY 2015-16

Colleagues,

I write to ask you to share with your faculty the attached pdf announcing this year’s information session for Archer Fellowships for upper-level undergraduates in Washington, DC, and to request that they bring the program to the attention of their students.

As you will see from the announcement, undergraduates (including internationals) in all majors in the university are eligible for selection; the most important criterion is an interest in public policy, government, politics, business, law, diplomacy, journalism and public relations. The program provides significant opportunities for post-graduation advancement in those fields, and is excellent preparation for graduate/professional study. Archer Fellows are bright, articulate, engaged and ambitious. UT Arlington typically designates five Archer Fellows per academic year.

Thank you in advance for your assistance in publicizing this opportunity.

Regards,

Karl M. Petruso, Dean
