Discussion will focus on position management, onboarding and workforce administration business processes. Topics include: creating a position, modifying a position, reclassifying a position, establishing funding, onboarding new employees (faculty, staff and students), including creating a new assignment, job data changes, additional pay, salary changes, employee separations and the related business impact changes.

The Managing Department Funds class is designed for employees responsible for managing and viewing accounting details. In this class, participants will be provided with an understanding of the chart of accounts, how to view available balances, and how to view account activity in commitment control.
