I lead the market research department at Kaiser Permanente, which is based here in Oakland, CA. I am aware of your fine program because of my long-term business relationship with DSS Research (Roger and Mike). In addition, my son actually graduated from UTA December 2016.
I'm reaching out to you because we are in the process of recruiting a person to be our research design and analysis lead (both quant and qual, but quant should be this person's strength) for applied work in the areas of brand, advertising, and marketing communications. The emphasis will be on original primary research, but experience in integrating primary research data and other metrics would be a real plus. Specific responsibilities will include concept testing, message testing, TURF analysis, segmentation, measuring and modeling ad effectiveness, as well as media mix modeling.
Ideally we would like someone who had a few years' experience under their belts in these applied areas of marketing research, although we would consider a newly minted Master's degree holder who has great potential and has been exposed to these applied areas in the course of their training.
I am happy to go on, but I'll stop there. Do you know of any candidates or can you possibly refer me to others who might?
