Diwali and Global Grounds Happy Diwali to our Indian, Nepalese and all other students who celebrate the magnificent Festival of Lights! Diwali is one of the most important festival celebrated by Hindus from all over the world. The event takes place on Wednesday, November 7th and is a day where one celebrates the triumph of light over darkness. People celebrate the holiday in various ways but it’s typically a time for family bonding as they wish their loved ones near and far a happy and prosperous year. Come out to Global Grounds this week to celebrate Homecoming and Diwali with us. Free chai, hot chocolate and Indian treats will be provided! EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: CPT If you’re an F-1 student interested in gaining practical experience in your field of study while enrolled in a degree program, come out to the CPT session next week.
