Become a more competitive candidate for jobs and build relationships with a diverse group of students! Global Mavericks is designed to be flexible, and some of your options to complete the certificate include activities like studying abroad, volunteering, taking cultural academic classes, attending cultural events, and participating in the Language Exchange Program. The Human Library provides participants with a safe space to share experiences and explore stereotypes without fear of reprisal or judgment. Instead of print or electronic reserve, the books that will be available are people who have experienced prejudice because of their race, gender, age, disability, sexual preference, ethnic origin, gender identity, or lifestyle choices.
