Summer/Fall 2020 UGRAP/UROP Applications are
still open & extended deadline to April 17th, 2020!

The positive effects of an undergraduate research experience on student learning, attitude, and career choice have passed from anecdote to systematic data. Many educators,
particularly in the sciences, have come to see the potential for authentic undergraduate
research to be a high-impact educational practice for achieving excellence in liberal education. In
the past decade research on these student experiences has revealed the extensive array of professional and personal benefits.
PLEASE NOTE: As UTA has moved to remote/online instruction, we are working with the guidelines that summer employment may not occur. More information will be forthcoming. If you
are interested in summer employment, please do mark that choice in the application and you will be updated. Additionally, the previous requirement of attending an OUR Information Session is no longer required.
