Hi, All! I wanted to share an interesting opportunity for student engagement!
Join the A&AH Department to honor
INDIGENOUS PEOPLES’ DAY
Today,
Monday, Oct 11.
Stop by one of the three locations below between 8am and 7pm to sign your name to a pledge to honor indigenous communities! Check out the main atrium of the Central
Library, the Gallery at UTA Office on the first floor of the Fine Arts Building (FAB; just across from the Gallery entrance), or the A&AH Main Office on the 3rd floor of the FAB (Room 335)!
The pledges will be up on MONDAY ONLY so take a moment out of your day to join the pledge!
Organized by Morgan Chivers and the A&AH DEI Committee in partnership with the UTA Land Acknowledgment Task Force.
Best,
Leah

I acknowledge that I live and work on stolen land. I honor the Caddo, Wichita, Cherokee, Tonkawa, and other native peoples affected by violence and unequal treatment through white/Euro-American settlement
of Arlington and Tarrant County.
