Attention student's the State Fair of Texas is back!!


The Office of International Education will be sponsoring a State Fair Excursion open to all international students on Saturday, October 7th from 10am- 5pm.


Join us in exploring one of Texas's famous landmarks, sampling Texas cuisine and riding thrilling adventure rides.  The State Fair is a fantastic event for families and students of all ages!  Questions about the State Fair- visit their website: https://bigtex.com/


For only $5 you get transportation to and from the State Fair and entrance into the fair!  Please read and review our conditions and purchase tickets here<https://www.uta.edu/oie/?page=programs&program=statefair>.  But hurry as space is limited!  Limit 5 tickets per student.  Students are welcome and encouraged to bring family and friends, but please note no child seats will be provided.  Anyone under the age of 18 must have prior permission from a parent/ guardian.


***Please note anyone who purchases a ticket will be required to ride the bus to the State Fair and tickets will be handed out on the buses, however if students wish they can arrange their own transportation home from the fair.  Additional tickets will be sold to students on a wait list, depending on space you will be refunded after the event if you are on the waitlist.  If this is the case you will be notified via email.  No refunds will be offered other than wait list.  Any students requiring special accommodation should contact the Office of International Education at least five business days prior to the event.
