Subject: All Majors Job Fair - Wednesday, February 19th

To: Deans and Chairs

The Spring All Majors Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, February 19th, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Maverick Activities Center. Over 150 employers are expected to attend the Job Fair. These employers have full-time, part-time, and internship positions to fill.

I am writing to ask you to encourage your faculty and others who have direct contact with students to remind students about the Job Fair and the benefits of attending. In addition, I've attached a flyer that you may post or distribute as you see fit.

The common misconception is that employers who attend the Job Fair are only interested in hiring business and engineering majors. That is not true! Most of the employers at the Job Fair are interested in hiring students from many different disciplines.

The Job Fair is only open to current UT Arlington students and alumni so it provides an invaluable networking opportunity. Students should wear suits and bring plenty of copies of their resume. Students are encouraged to have their resume critiqued in the Career Development Center prior to the Job Fair.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact me at X2-3243 or [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Thank you in advance for your assistance in getting the word out to our students about the Job Fair.
