Dear Colleagues,

One of the Center for Theory Faculty Advisory Board members, Dr. Jennifer Miller, just had her book published! Her book The Transformative Potential of LGBTQ+ Children’s Picture Books was published by the University of Mississippi Press. The book is the first to address LGBTQ children’s picture books and demonstrates the impact these representations can have for kids. This book comes out at the perfect time with states attacking and banning books that discuss sexuality.
