Welcoming Diversity (8)

This workshop is an experiential, interactive program designed to  
promote awareness and increased sensitivity to the many similarities  
and differences among individuals and groups in our society.  Done in  
an upbeat, hopeful tone, the program focuses on developing self-pride,  
examining stereotypes, and learning skills in responding to  
prejudicial jokes, remarks, and slurs. Participants will also discover  
how to be more attentive to diversity and racism in the workplace and  
community.

You will learn how to structure a retirement income stream. You will  
identify those risks that may threaten the retirement income stream.

Dealing with Difficult People (AP)

the rest of us. This training gives you concrete techniques for  
dealing with difficult people in the workplace and at home. It  
provides specific strategies for getting adversaries to  
cooperate...bullies to back off ... wallflowers to open up ... chronic  
complainers to quiet down.

Real Issues, Real Talk: Workplace Violence
This presentation is designed to increase awareness of the risk  
factors leading to violence in the workplace and offers tips on how  
people can protect themselves in the event that they are confronted  
with either a verbal threat or a weapon such as a knife or a gun.  
Assistant Chief Gomez will also offer some general crime prevention  
tips for people to take while on campus.
