Interested in essential skills related to dealing with tough  
interpersonal and intergroup conflicts. This incredible class  
demonstrates a method for assisting diverse groups to work together  
even in tough, emotionally charged conflicts.

When: Tuesday, May 19th, 2009, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Where: Wetsel Service Center Room 200

Attendees for this class must have attended the Welcoming Diversity  
workshop to attend this session.

Skills (8)

Do you struggle to find the right words in a conversation? Do you find  
yourself not being able to get your point across? Now is your  
opportunity to learn the skills that can empower you to speak clearly  
and effectively.

What: Essential Communication Skills
When: Thursday, May 21st, 2009, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Participants will learn about communication styles, assertiveness, non- 
verbal communication, and additional keys to communication that will  
educate and empower.
