Partnering With Your Boss (AP)

As an administrative assistant, your success depends upon effectively  
partnering with your boss. You are often called upon to communicate,  
plan, organize, negotiate and participate in decision-making at very  
high levels. This course is specially designed to help you learn goal  
setting, prioritizing, planning, decision making, relationship  
building and listening.

What: Partnering with Your Boss
When: Tuesday, October 28th, 2008, 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.
Where: Wetsel Service Center

You will return to work with a better understanding of what partnering  
with your boss entails and a greater ability to support your  
organizations goals from your position as a secretary, executive  
secretary or member of the administrative support staff.

RetireWise-Module 2: Creating and Protecting Wealth

You will get a comprehensive overview of the principles of investing  
and the various investment vehicles available to you. You will also  
understand the general rules to building wealth and how to go about  
protecting it. Topics include Investment Types and Principles and Taxes.

What: RetireWise Module 2
When: Wednesday, October 29th, 2008, 2:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.
Where: Wetsel Service Center, room 200
Who: MetLife Retirement Specialists

This class is part two of the four-session series offered during the  
month of June by the Office of Human Resources: Benefits and MetLife.
