Where: Environmental Health & Safety Building, 500 Summit Ave.
Who: Environmental Health and Safety Trainers
The skills you learn here could save a life. Participants will receive
CPR certification card.

ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) in the Workplace (T)
The 1992 American with Disabilities Act has greatly impacted the
workplace and the workforce. Successful organizations today have made
a commitment to hire individuals with disabilities. Co-workers and
managers are often not equipped with the necessary skills to fully
integrate these employees into their workforce.
What: ADA in the Workplace
When: Wednesday, February 18th, 2009, 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Who: Dianne Hengst, Assistant Dean, UT Arlington Office of Students
with Disabilities and Krista Hawley, Associate Director, UT Arlington
Office of Human Resources.
This workshop introduces proven principles and common sense ideas on
how to best support and work with disabled individuals.

Interested in essential skills related to dealing with tough
interpersonal and intergroup conflicts. This incredible class
demonstrates a method for assisting diverse groups to work together
even in tough, emotionally charged conflicts.

to discuss. This seminar is designed to explore real problems and
discover how to develop strategies to map out the problem and discover
a real solution.

You will explore the tools for creatively brainstorming solutions and

greater results.
