This years ACES poster event at UTA is on April 12. I would like everyone who is researching with us, and who will be here on Friday April 12, to submit an abstract for a poster. I have also nominated Leslie to present on behalf of our group in the oral talk competition.
We will set an internal deadline for poster abstracts for one week from today, March 13. Please email your abstract to me, Katherine and Andrew (cc’d), for review. If you are not sure about what your abstract should cover, ask us on slack.
Our group are reigning champions for the poster competition in the grad category. This year lets keep that title and win the undergrad category too!

The attachment contains important details about the ACES selection process for grad student oral and
grad and ugrad poster presentations, deadlines on nomination, abstract information, rubrics and other cool stuff.
Please read if you have any students doing research. Ali please encourage the ug's doing research that are in your seminar class to prepare a poster as well (they have to do it anyway so might as well get a shot at the big bux).
