LGBT Individuals: The Challenges of Disclosure (Brown Bag Lunch)

When lesbian and gay persons are coming out there are many stressful  
aspects to the process. Making disclosures to others is one of the  
most stressful actions they take. Yet, lesbian and gay persons are  
increasingly disclosing their sexual identity to parents, friends and  
co-workers, among others.

What: The Challenges of Disclosure
When: Friday, February 20th, 2009, 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.
Where: University Center, San Saba
Who: Ski Hunter, Ph.D.

This presentation will focus on understanding the disclosure process,  
preparing to make a disclosure, and how to support those who may  
disclose to you. Registration for this event is not necessary, but  
space is limited.
